PURPOSE:

We will learn the history of nearby places of interest and visit them together.

DESCRIPTION:

This seminar reprises our recent course, while visiting new places. We will visit historical houses and buildings, galleries, college facilities, various community historical associations, gardens, museums, and walking trails. There may be admission fees at some of our sites. Carpooling is encouraged.

ROLE OF PARTICIPANTS: Each participant will arrange for one tour. This can be a place on the list of suggestions or a place that you or anyone else suggests.
ABOUT THE MODERATOR: Kay is a retired educator. She enjoys nature, hiking and gardening, reading, writing, history, and travel. Nancy is a retired public librarian who enjoys reading, singing, and road tripping. Both have been members of FCLIR for over a decade, serving in various capacities.
