Mailer's "The Naked and the Dead"

The Naked and the Dead was Mailer’s first novel and a war novel, published in 1948. Mailer based his popular story on is experiences fighting in the South Pacific in World War II. Participants will read the novel chapter by chapter and collectively discuss those chapters. Participants, including the moderator, will supply discussion questions and prompts ahead of the next session.
