Let’s learn more about the women comedians of today, whether they work in film, television, or stand-up. Where did they grow up? How did they end up in comedy? What kind of humor do they offer their audiences?
A list of women of contemporary comedy will be sent to participants. It will include well-known comedians such as Tiny Fey, Amy Poehler, Wanda Sykes, Paula Poundstone, and Maya Rudolph, as well as some lesser-known women such as Iliza Shlesinger and Ziwe. With approval from the moderator, participants may choose to present a female comedian not on the list.
Participants are invited to find their own resources. The moderator will be available to assist.
Morning seminars run from 9:30 am – 11:30 am.
